DSWF was formed in 1984, by the renowned wildlife artist and conservationist, David Shepherd, CBE, in response to his firsthand witnessing of humankind’s abuse of the natural world. To date, we have invested over £12.5 million in frontline conservation projects that battle the drivers of wildlife crime. Our ambition and reach will only continue to grow.

Through our collection of wildlife art, DSWF continues to honour the legacy of David Shepherd through art events, exhibitions, partnerships, and sales of outstanding original artworks and prints to support wildlife conservation efforts across Africa and Asia.

By showcasing the breathtaking talent of wildlife artists and sharing their powerful messages, we hope to inspire a deeper appreciation for wildlife and a sense of responsibility to protect and conserve our natural heritage for future generations.

Founded in 1910, The Chelsea Art Society is the oldest and sole survivor of the many art groups that blossomed in the area around that period. Rossetti and Turner began the trend to settle in Chelsea in the mid 19th Century, followed by Whistler, Sickert, Augustus John and John Singer Sargent. Amongst the group was Sir James Dromgole Linton, a frequent exhibitor at the Royal Academy and an Honorary member of the Scottish Water Colour Society. He chose Chelsea as the place to found an art group to exhibit annually. 

The Chelsea Art Society flourished,  survived two World Wars, and was revived in 1946 by Alfred Egerton Cooper RBA.

The Himalayan Garden & Sculpture Park is so incredibly beautiful! The landscape comprises of a beautiful valley with scenic woodland walks, enhanced by three lakes, a Pagoda, Summerhouse, Himalayan Shelter, Contemplation Circle and Norse Hut.

As a sculptor, I find deep joy and inspiration in the process of working with clay. It is a sensual and emotional experience for me, where I let my intuition guide me.

I have a profound appreciation for the traditional ways of sculpting and as an alumni of The Sculpture School, in England, I have had the privilege of learning from masters in the field.

I'm passionate about combining the traditional and the contemporary in my sculpting journey, and I'm committed to pushing the boundaries of my art. The beauty of those intimate moments in the creative process is what drives me, and I'm dedicated to continually evolving as an artist.
