Lean On Me is one of my favourite sculptures I’ve made to date. Right from when I started sculpting him, I had a strong vision of what this little chap wanted me to do. I felt guided to capture him at rest, but not at ease. As Wild Dog, his life is not easy, constantly having to survive with little love or protection. My heart went out to the life of this stunning dog. I feel great appreciation for Lean On Me. He is a warrior. A survivor. A legend.
